Doctor's Data leverages matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight spectrometry (MALDI-TOF) for the rapid and accurate identification of normal, commensal and dysbiotic microbes based upon their signature high-abundance protein profiles. Results are compared to the Bruker RUO database of more than 2,300 species to identify potential pathogens. This database permits Doctor's Data to identify up to 170 yeast species, including 80 different candida species. High complexity microbiology coupled with MALDI-TOF technology allows Doctor's Data to provide practitioners with the most comprehensive, readily interpretable and clinically relevant analyses of patient microbiomes.
